You may qualify for this study and be compensated up to $18,000, plus a tax-free travel reimbursement from $1,500 to $3,000, depending on how far you live from our facility.
- Males of Japanese descent between 28 and 55 years old
- Females of Japanese descent between 28 and 45 years old
- Weight 122 to 209 lbs for Japanese subjects
- BMI from 18 to 30 kg/m2
- Non-smokers or moderate smokers (less than 5 cigarettes per day)
Travel compensation: $1,500, $2,000, or $3,000, depending on how far you live from our facility (only if more than 200 miles).
Refer a friend of Japanese descent, you may earn up to $5,000.
Study objective: develop an investigational drug to treat osteoporosis.
What is osteoporosis? Osteoporosis is a disease that thins and weakens the bones. Your bones become fragile and break easily, especially in the hip, spine, and wrist. More than 53 million people in the United States either have osteoporosis or are at high risk of developing it.
