1SYR2-SAD: Healthy Volunteers 18-55

You may qualify and be compensated up to $3,250 if you meet the following requirements:

• Females and males from 18 to 55 years
• Weight from 50 kg (110 lbs.) to 100 kg (220 lbs.)
• BMI (Body Mass Index) between 18 and 30 kg/m2
• Non-smokers
• No medications, vitamins, supplements, or herbal remedies

Study design: 

• 1 screening visit,
• 1 inpatient stay of 3 nights (4 days) and up to 16 nights (17 days), as determined by the study doctor.
• 1 outpatient visit 4 days after discharge from the clinical site.

Study objective:  This trial aims to evaluate the safety and tolerability of 2 study drugs administered alone or together.

About the study drugs: The study drugs are being investigated for the treatment of schizophrenia, a serious, long-term mental disorder that affects thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

In 2022, schizophrenia spectrum disorders affected about 1.2% of U.S. adults (ages 18–65), totaling roughly 3.7 million people.
